FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically like to charge based on the service: for tracking, to account for possible delays and technical hiccups, I like to do a day rate. That way, we can make up for lost time without an extreme increase in price, should problems arise that are out of our hands. For mixing, I like to work at an hourly rate, for the same reason: some songs take longer than others. I want to charge accurately.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my clients and learn what their influences are, so I can best meet their goals for each project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS in Music Recording and Production, which has granted me access to great teachers and experience, and have interned for great producers and engineers (Mitch Easter: REM, Bob Engel: Joe Walsh)
