- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes standard pricing is available for most carpet, however sometimes a walk thru is needed for an accurate quote or simply just more information.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I do a walk thru of the area and address any of the customers concerns such as stains or flooring issues. I inform them of my needs such as water supply and how my hoses will enter the area and affect them such as needing a door cracked for the hoses. I explain to them the start to finish procedures. I also like to do another walk thru with the customer when finished to make sure I have addressed their concerns and show them the finished process.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I cleaned carpets at a very young age. I ended up repairing a family members professional portable unit and using it for side jobs. I eventually lost my full time job and purchased a $30,000 unit and it is now my full time profession. Which gives the opportunity spend more time with my family.
