Introduction: I make sure to go above and beyond my guests' expectations and that they are comfortable. It is my personal priority to listen very closely to details of what they'd like to achieve. I take into consideration each individual's style and personality, as well as their skin type, face shape and any flaw they desire to be corrected. Whatever the occasion or reasoning may be for their visit, I personally strive for a flawless result of application! I make sure that my guest feels educated on the makeup application placement, coloring and why to compliment and or enhance their best features! Also, through demonstration, they will learn how to correct and conceal any problematic areas or skin conditions. I also go into detailed explanation of the tools I use and why, such as certain types of brushes for specific application, so they too can achieve the look they desire! I've had a passion and obsession for makeup ever since I was very young, even before my mother would allow me to wear it out of the house. After applying makeup daily to my sister who is 6 years younger than me, I realized how talented I truly was. Knowing that I had this obsession for beauty products, I had to turn my passion into a career! I always knew I wanted to be a makeup artist. Being able to help women to look and feel their absolute best brings me pure happiness, to see the smile on their face after and that their confidence level has risen. I enjoy being a woman, and I feel this is a way to help empower other women! When you feel your best, you do your best.

She has done my makeup many times. She has done anything from a face for going out on the town to my wedding makeup. I really wouldn't change anything that she does. She takes into affect what you describe and want. And completes the look. Every look lasted the whole desired time. Through crying and sweating in 90 degree heat. Everything she has done for me has been too my liking and I would definitely recommend her to anyone. She's great at what she does!

I had my eyebrows tattooed with Babydoll Ink/Lexa. She did an amazing job! The years of waxing I had done combined with my light colored hair left my eyebrows both patchy and hard to see. Lexa gave them definition and natural coloring that both look amazing. I am extremely impressed with how they turned out. I loved Lexa's technique! Also for anyone considering this procedure that's never had cosmetic make-up done before, this was fairly painless procedure and healing time. There was some slight itching and peeling during healing but definitely nothing to be worried about.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In studio Makeup application pricing- Traditional makeup application- $55. Event makeup application- $65. Airbrush makeup application- $100. All makeup applications listed above include a full flawless face makeup application and natural false lashes applied, they are made from 100% real hair and have no flash back in photos like synthetic lashes. Also the eyelashes used you can re use approximately 25 times if you follow the Babydoll Ink eyelash care guide I provide during application. Wedding makeup application pricing- Bridesmaid makeup application- $65 Bridal makeup application- $75 Airbrush makeup application- $100 All makeup applications listed above include a full flawless face makeup application and natural false lashes applied, they are made from 100% real hair and have no flash back in photos like synthetic lashes. Trial run makeup applications are half price and applied at Babydoll Ink Studio. Travel fee- $100 (travel fee is expected to be paid in full during trail run, travel fee is necessary if artist is traveling further then 20 miles from Babydoll Ink studio location in Elk River Minnesota.) Bride is required to set up an appointment to have a meeting within studio minimum of two months prior to the date of wedding if a trial run is not taking place. This meeting will include filling out Babydoll Ink's event form. If there is not a trial run booked for bride, it will also entail trial fee due and going over detail and layout of bridal makeup application. When booking for weddings there is a minimum of four makeup applications required, that can include any of the applications listed above.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have specific forms I prefer my guests to fill out, it goes in detail about their skin type. Also what they would like to achieve out of their application. Also (optional) photos to reference of specific looks they would like to recieve.
