Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I'm a traveling carpenter and international rock climber/mountaineer who has worked in multiple states under different codes and on many different projects from custom home building, apartment renovations, burn house renovations, kitchen remodels, decks, plumbing, bathroom remodels, electric etc. My favorite part of construction is having a task oriented job that gives me a new problem to solve every day with the added benefit of creating something new and enjoyable for my clients. My grandpa has always treated carpentry like a craft, and sadly I don't see that in my generation anymore. It's just a job. I want to bring craftsmanship back to carpentry, remodeling, and home building.

Reed Rombough, was hired to do a remodeling job on my extra bathroom. I heard through friends that he was a good, honest, hard working contractor, and I was pleasantly pleased. He has the knowledge to do the electrical, plumbing, running all the pipes(himself), laying the flooring, and the tile work. He did all the work to code, and professionally. I'd been putting off the bathroom remodel for several years, due to not knowing how I wanted it done. Reed was able to put me at ease, with his knowledge of decorating, and showing me how the flooring, tile, paint and shower would all come together to be a beautiful bathroom. I highly recommend, Reed Rombough and his Nomad Construction LLC company, for any job you may be thinking of doing in the future, or wanting to do at this time. He has the knowledge, the ability and work ethic to accomplish whatever you may need done, and he does it in a timely manner. Thank you, Reed for making our dream bathroom no longer a dream, but a beautiful dream come true that my husband and I can enjoy.

Reed was curteous and professional and his work was beautiful. He built a breakfast bar in my kitchen, opening up the wall between my kitchen and living room - the finished product made my house look so open. He was meticulous with measurements, choosing the right pieces, cleaning up, and really in every aspect of the job. I would recommend him highly to friends and family.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

With a new customer I like to meet with them ASAP to get eyes on the project and to question them about their desires. I like to extensively discuss what the customer wants done and take detailed notes to ensure we're both on the same page.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Throughout high school I helped my grandfather remodel an old Lakehouse. I spent 4 years in college and have joined the masses of millennials not working in their field. My degree is biology but I've found home construction a more engaging line of work. The last three years I've worked for different companies and contractors absorbing as much as I can and reading extensively.
