FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically ask for a current resume that the customer has already drafted. If no resume has been assembled, I start asking basic information such as contact info, skill sets, previous employment and education, any certifications received and references.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have about ten years of professional administrative experience. My current full time job requires a lot of recruiting which means reading through tons of cover letters and resumes. I know what employers look for in resumes because I have to screen candidates myself.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started when I had friends ask me to help them out with their resumes. Next thing I know, I had requests from friends of friends and I realized I was obviously pretty good at making awesome resumes.
