We recently hired Sun State Glass to install a frame-less shower enclosure and replace an old, failing insulated glass unit in an exterior door. When evaluating contractors I consider three core factors (in no particular order): time, quality and cost. The crew from Sun State Glass showed up on time and finished on time; The quality of the finished installations meets our expectations in all respects; Their bid was the lowest of three we obtained and we are happy with the value received for the price. They gave me a fair quote to remove and reinstall 6 retrofit windows. They explained all that was done wrong and how to fix it. The work has to wait until after the rains, but they have kept in touch and rescheduled.
