I've been a professional photographer since 1989 originally as a photojournalist so my work has that look to it. I specialize in shooting authentic family & wedding documentary images to tell your story. When I photograph for you, I'm a guest, not staging your images. I needed a very personal, yet professional, video done. Cliff managed to create a unique, visually beautiful and very touching video. I am incredibly happy with the video and use it as a staple for my professional interactions. Cliff has also done still photography for me. He was very good at putting me at ease and capturing a sense of me in the photos-and keeping them professional. Cliff is more than someone who takes pictures. He is someone that sees into the subject and pulls out the emotion and essence of what you are asking and then manages to convey that through his photos and videos. I found Cliff's pricing to be comparable to other professional photographers-but he brings a better interaction and experience than some I've worked with before. I will work with Cliff again when I have photography or videography needs.

Cliff is a consummate professional and delivers high quality work. He documented our wedding and did an impeccable job with detail and diligence in every aspect of capturing the event. We all take a million pictures of our favorite moments to savor those times. However, I didn't realize how priceless documentary photography was. cliff has this eye that captures every bit of the present time. When I saw my pictures I was flooded with all the emotions and senses! Looking at each picture I could feel what I felt in that moment, the scent of what it smelled like that day and tears filled my eyes with joy. Cliff had captured every moment in time. Not only is Cliff a creative, incredible photographer he is also a joy to work with. He immediately felt like family which helped me not be camera shy. I felt so comfortable just being me. He is so much fun but also professional. We feel so blessed to have gotten to work with cliff and incredibly grateful for preserving our memories! WOW! I can't speak highly enough about Cliff. I started working with Cliff very early in his career. He knows people, and is one of the most gifted photographers I've worked with. Feeling so comfortable with Cliff, it was easy decision to commission him to shoot my professional portraits. He genuinely captured my personality and how I want my clients to see me! As my business grew, I knew that I needed the addition of video, but was uncomfortable with the idea. Cliff held my hand through the process and assured me that I could do it, and he was right. I never thought I could speak professionally in front of the camera, but Cliff made it a easy and wonderful experience.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing isn't the least expensive. My point of view is you get what you pay for. My website goes into more details about what I create and why. Pricing shouldn't be the ONLY determining factor in your hiring decision.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is to ask as many questions as possible about what the client is looking for. I listen to understand, not listen to respond. I ask about what they are looking for - and whether I"m the right photographer for that.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I received my first cameras in 1977 as a sophomore in high school.. within a very short time, I realized that I was going to make being a photographer as a career. In reality, I didn't choose the career, it chose me.
