- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If possible I like to speak with clients over the phone before setting the initial intake assessment. I will email you New Client paperwork which should be completed before you arrive at the appointment. We will review the paperwork together which will help me understand the reasons why you are seeking therapy right now.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a master's degree clinical psychology. I've been trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, traditional CBT, mindfulness based-stress reduction techniques and motivational interviewing.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I spent nearly 20 years working in reality television as a producer and director. I had a great time and many wonderful experience but decided I wanted to have a more positive impact on the world.
