We had a few contractors out to estimate the cost to remove and replace rodent damaged vapor barrier and insulation in the crawl space of our home. First Choice Insulation Services can out, inspected the crawl space, measured the area and then provided an estimate via email the next day. They were the lowest price of the bids we had obtained. We were able to schedule the work to be done within a few days and they did the whole job in one day. They did a great job, kept the debris contained on tarps and left the property clean upon completion of the job. They offered to show me the completed work in the crawl space, which I took them up on. The insulation was properly installed, and the new vapor barrier clean. They answered all questions professionally. I would recommend them in the future.

Provided great information of the work to be performed, materials to be used, and the work was done very satisfactory and in a timely manner. Cleanup was done very well and we ended up with a nicely done crawlspace (large one at that) at a very fair price.

The First Choice Insulation team transformed our basement into a safe and comfortable space. Nick gave us excellent advice on our basement insulation and was very flexible in working with our schedule and the activities of other contractors on our house renovation. How did you get started doing this type of work?
10 years ago I started at a well known insulation company. I was tired of doing the same thing over and over. Decided to try something new. I found out soon after that I was really good at doing insulation work. I grew fast with the company and became a crew lead and trainer. I have been doing this kind of work ever since.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I had a customer call me and she was in a bind. She didn't pass a inspection on her crawlspace. She was in the process of selling the house. I was able to get her on the schedule as soon as I could. We made her crawlspace look great and she passed the second inspection a day later.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always have a company come out and take a look for a quote.
