- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Please carefully read the following requirements. To ensure the health and safety of the pets in our care, we reserve the right to refuse admittance to any pup that does not meet the following requirements: We require a tryout and meet and greet for all new pups. The tryout is used to evaluate your pup’s temperament and get them acclimated to Puppy Dog Tales. If you become a client we will apply the tryout fee to your first day of boarding or daycare. Pups must have proof of current Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Bordetella vaccinations. Please provide shot records or your vet’s phone number so we can confirm vaccinations. All pups must be on a flea and tick prevention program, be in reasonably good health and have no contagious illnesses or conditions. All pups over the age of 8 months must be spayed or neutered. Pups must be non-aggressive toward people and other pups. Restricted Breeds: Unfortunately, due to insurance limitations we do not accept certain breeds, including but not limited to “pit bull” type dogs and “pit mixes.” Please contact us directly for a list of Restricted Breeds. Registration and Release Forms: On your pup’s first visit to Puppy Dog Tales you will be required to complete a registration form and sign a release form. If someone other than you will be dropping off your pup, we will need to send you both forms in advance to be signed and returned at the time of drop-off. Under no circumstances may your pup be left in Puppy Dog Tales care without a signed release form. Thanks so much for choosing Puppy Dog Tales! Please contact us if you have any further questions, or if your pet has special needs that you would like to discuss. We look forward to meeting you and your best friend soon!
