- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide all props & accessories for newborn through first year! All packages include a private gallery for you to choose the images you want with the option to purchase prints. I offer four packages: Grow With Me Package ~ $750 This package includes three full sessions which includes newborn, 6 months & one year. 10 digital downloads with each session with the option to purchase prints. **Add a mini maternity for $100** Bellies to Babies Package ~ $500 This package includes a mini maternity session with 5 digital downloads for mama. Then once baby arrives you will receive the full newborn session with 10 digital downloads with the option to purchase more. Full Newborn Package ~ $350 Includes our full newborn package which includes lots of props & set ups! If you wish, we can include a couple parent or sibling shots as well. You will receive 10 digital downloads with the option to purchase more. Baby/Child Package ~ $200 This package includes a mini baby/child session. If you wish, we can include a couple parent(s) shots as well. You may add a sibling for an additional charge. You will receive your 5 digital downloads with the option to purchase prints. **For baby/child 1 month to 10 years ONLY** *Each sibling added will be an additional $50* **All editing is included with every package**
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The best time to schedule a newborn session is during your pregnancy. I will add your due date to my calendar & email you my Welcome Packet which outlines dos & donts and what you should expect. When your baby actually arrives, contact me asap, & we will finalize your session date. I will schedule your session during your newborn's 6th~14th day of life, which is the most precious time to photograph a newborn. I am going to follow your baby's cues, so if you relax & go with the flow it will go more smoothly. We'll take breaks as needed so you or I can feed your baby. During your session, I will pose & handle your baby with the utmost care. I will soothe, swaddle & ensure baby is kept happy. My assistant & I will strive to complete your session within 2~3 hours. If there are any special requests please let me know before your session. The best time to schedule a maternity session is right around 30 weeks. This is usually when your belly gets really round but not too heavy yet. The best time to schedule your child's one year cake smash is 1 month prior to birthdate, if you want to use the images for their invitations & right around date of birth, if not. **Turn around time for most sessions is typically 3~4 weeks**
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over the past 5 years I have taken both formal and informal training to develop and sharpen my photography skills. And every day, I continue to take every opportunity to learn new skills to excel further in newborn photography. Formal training that I've taken include classes at Showcase School of Photography, now know as Atlanta School of Photography, which include classes such as Photo 1, 2 & 3, Composition, Shooting with Natural Light, Flash 1, 2 & 3, Studio Lightning, Photoshop, etc. I later tailored my newborn photography skills by taking a Newborn Mentoring Workshop, with one of the best newborn photographers in Atlanta, in which I learned newborn safety, posing & wrapping techniques, newborn lighting, maternity 101, etc. And I currently continue my education on a daily basis by paying for maternity, newborn/baby/child online classes and lessons through CreativeLive. These classes are taught by renown photographers like Ana Brandt & Kelly Brown.
