What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
New client $35.00 for a 1hr session, regular 1 hour is $70. I also offer a ongoing health discount for regular clients.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Taking a full assessment and making sure that I have all of the individuals needs in mind before starting is of my highest priority.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have well over 500 hours, I have worked in a hospice setting. I have work with special populations including Autism. I have PTSD experience. I continue constantly to further my education taking CE units to better equip me to meet the ever changing needs of my clients.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had myself been receiving the benefits of therapeutic massage. I realized the need to provide a depth of skill and knowledge to those who are able to receive the benefits of regular ongoing therapy.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with the general population, hospice, geriatric, PTSD, and Autism community.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am pleased to volunteer services to help out local school PTA's, at Mather Field Veterans Hospital, in a Hospice setting and to be one of the few providers of Autism services.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Finding the right therapist is very important. While skill set, experience, knowledge do matter an ability to connect personally also matters, which will then allow you and your muscles to relax fully then getting the full benefits of therapy.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It's important to be sure that you make clear to your therapist what your expectations of the session are. Then that might better be able to meet them.
