I have the pleasure of working with Diane Bauer for my therapeutic needs and highly recommend her. Her insight and understanding of my needs is remarkable. She guides me through my issues and skillfully helps me develop new channels of communication with my husband. Diane has helped me heal from previous trauma and my relationship with him is much stronger. Diane has changed my life and I am forever indebted to her.

Diane is very insightful and easy to talk with about pretty much anything. If she doesn't have first hand experience with something you are struggling with, she will admit it and listen to you describe the issue and do her best to find out more in order to help you. Even as a client, she feels like a real friend who just wants what is best for you and does an amazing job helping you achieve piece of mind on the road to real happiness.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My standard session rate is $90 for 50 minutes.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We often start with a 20 minute phone conversation with the client telling me a little bit about themselves and why they are seeking therapy. This conversation helps the client make a determination as to whether or not they feel I would be a good fit for them as their therapist. We talk about the importance of confidentiality to the therapy process, what the first therapy session might look like, goals the client wants to work toward during our time together, and my fee structure.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a master's degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. Additionally, I have trained as a Level II PACT therapist and a Level I Gottman Couple's Therapist. I have specialized training in grief and loss issues, mindfulness, and non-directive play therapy.
