- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I email my clients a brief questionnaire so that I can learn a little about them. The questions make me aware of their fitness level and helps me better prepare them a customized workout plan. I then schedule an appointment for an initial assessment and to go over client goals. From there I plan a workout regimen that will ensure that the client will be successful.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified and Accredited Personal Trainer through NCSF(National Council on Strength & Fitness) but where I feel I have learned the most is by life experiences. I have been 314lbs at my recorded heaviest and have transformed myself with weight loss and strength training
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was in the Mortgage/Banking industry for 10+ years and was laid off. I had always talked about becoming a Personal Trainer but never pursued it. I took the opportunity that was placed in front of me and finally did it and it's been the best decision I've ever made in my life. I love what I'm doing, it never feels like work to me, because I love it so much. I know my clients' struggles personally cause I fight the same ones daily. Together we can do this, allow me to travel on this journey with you and we will have fun and see results.
