I contacted Lazar Interiors to reupholster my Z gallery furniture that I custom ordered from Z gallery years ago. When I bought this furniture 3 years ago it was ordered in beige linen and with my cat and just simple over time wear it started to look a bit worn out. I love the design and shape of the couch and chair but 2 things stopped me from going to buy the same two new pieces: 1. When I ordered this stuff it took 10 weeks to get it and 2. I did not want any of the fabric choices that Z gallery offered. So the next option was to have it reupholstered and wow did I make the right decision. Years ago I had Lazar Interiors do some cushions for a eucalyptus Crate and Barrel Sectional Couch that is on my patio in sunbrella fabric and it still looks new, so they were the ones to call to tackle this job as well.
When I called I got to speak with Adam and with his guidance we found exactly what I was looking for. Their show room is amazing and they have so many books and fabric options to choose from. I went with a gray soft to the touch but very durable Sunbrella fabric for the chair (its an indoor chair which I know sounds weird but it is very soft and durable) and ottoman that they basically made for me. For the couch we went a blue velvet that is amazingly soft and incredible to see in person and sit on. So NOW for the best part, it was less money then replacing it all and THEY DID IT IN 5 DAYS!!!!!!! I was shocked when they picked it up and five days later it was done and delivered. Tony the delivery guy was very very nice and careful to not hit any wall or door trim in my house. I would say the best parts of this experience were where the couch was soft and TOO broken in, they firmed up to like new. The squeak that it had when I sat down in "my spot" GONE! They also painted the ugly brown frame around the bottom of the chair and sofa black as it was a bit dinged up from the vacuum. Finally the most important thing about it all is the work that they did is pure perfection. This chair and couch has better seam lines then it did from Z gallery and I could not find one single thread or error anywhere and I am very picky. If you want something done right call Lazar Interiors and they will guide you through it with ease and you will be as happy as I am with my NEW furniture. Thank you so very much Adam and Lazar Interiors, you guys amazed me with the quality and speed of your work!
