We received Alan's name from our cabinet maker, Liquid Amber Custom Cabinets. We had already decided on the cabinet company before we had a contractor, and asked them for a recommendation. They said they had worked with AW Construction on a number of occasions and found them to be excellent. We interviewed Alan from AW Construction and felt he understood our vision and plans.
Alan proved to be a perfect match for what we wanted to accomplish. We totally remodeled our kitchen, down to the studs, and removed a wall. The plans called for moving almost all appliances, as well as adding an island, etc.
We were very happy with the way Alan approached the project and the way he stayed in close communication with us. No surprises from him. We had several construction surprises that worked through very well. He uses very good to excellent sub-contractors who showed up on time and completed the work in a timely and very professional manner. The project was completed in a timely fashion with the only hold-up being SDG&E and beyond anybody's control.
We are very happy with the results and would highly recommend Alan of AW Construction.

Alan Weyrick contracted a major remodeling of a 1600 sq. ft. home for us. Detailed plans were drawn by an architect which included a considerable amount of custom trim both inside and out in order to create a cottage out of a 1950s untouched tract home. A great room was created, ceiling lifted, new kitchen, two bathrooms remodeled, one bathroom added, new plumbing, electrical, HVAC, windows, roofing, deck, drainage and more. Alan was very detail oriented, patient, respectful and fair in his contract bid. He followed the contract and/or got approval for changes or additions to it. He did a beautiful job with our old house and after a year of enjoying it, we love it even more. We highly recommend AW Construction. We had no previous relationship with Alan when contracting with him and went with recommendations from others.
