I like to incorporate as many concepts/ideas that the client wants while being the voice of reason when certain things just may not fit into their end goal. After coming up with a unique and home grown theme for my son's first birthday party, I wanted to really be able to capture the moments with someone I trusted and would appreciate my vision by producing high quality and very inventive photos. De'Von was very professional all while providing a very personal and fun experience for all of my sons friends and family. He took time to review the venue and all of the different areas people would congregate. He also asked questions about the type of photos I wanted which I really appreciated because I didn't just want photos of friends and family but also photos of the decorations, location and of course the yummy spread. De'Von really has a unique approach to photography and videography as he actively engages while also allowing for organic activity to take place. The photos turned out so well done. His editing skills are top key! I now have a digital drive I was able to access on both my mobile and my computer. I highly recommend De'Von for any photography needs as he will truly listen to you as the client and if you don't like something or have a plan in mind, he is open to it while still providing directions that will leave you with the best photos commemorating any occasion.

We asked De'von to take our engagement pictures and he was amazing to work with! We would not have wanted anyone else to capture our special moments. I came to the table with a big order (wanted to have an elephant on our engagement pictures) and not only did he deliver on the elephant he delivered on the personality! He made us feel completely as ease. We cannot wait for him to do our wedding day pictures. We could not have asked for a better videographer than De'von to film our wedding ceremony. His artistic talent and creativity provided us with beautiful memories we will treasure forever. As important as the quality of the final product is, there are things that De'von provided that were just as important to us: EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION - always responded quickly to calls and texts, much appreciated by a bride juggling a million details; PROMPTNESS - comes from the school of "if you're on time, you're late"; SENSE OF HUMOR - kept me from stressing out and taking myself too seriously :); RESPECTFULNESS - asked me what was important to me and actually listened and executed accordingly; DISCRETION - in very tight quarters with tricky logistics, made himself invisible to us and our guests during the filming of the ceremony (don't quite know how he managed that); PERSONALITY PLUS - enjoyed working with him and sharing our special day with him! I would highly recommend De'von to anyone looking to capture a special moment in a creative way with a gifted videographer...he's the whole package!

De'Von is technically very skilled and the wedding reception highlight video he delivered is excellent and exactly what we discussed. However, he initially went to the wrong venue, causing him to be over an hour late and miss our entire wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. De'Von did very good work with the video footage he obtained, but missed many of the important moments that he was contracted for. He was apologetic, reduced the price, and still put a lot of effort into the final product. I'm happy with the end result, but also disappointed that so much was missed.
