- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Accessing details of client's needs for their event, submit a quote or discuss in more details if needed to properly and satisfactorily complete their event. Schedule a in person meeting accommoding a free sampling of their entire menu, whether booked or not. Followup over the phone to discuss any concerns client may have. We are very personal and believe strongly in relationships building, we to what we call after event hospitality . This is our way finding out clients reviews good or bad and what if anything we can do to make Signature's Legendary Cuisine their goto when hosting any event, big or small
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are small family owned and operated catering company. I have over 35 cooking experience and i am a certified chef and my daughter is a certified baking and pastry chef, my grand daughter age 9 is our bright multilingual chef in the making, my husband and son assit in set up and clean up, my other staff are all trained in customer care andbhaveball been with us for over 8 years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved to cook. I started out cooking part time but it wasnt until i was injured at work in 1996 that i took it on full time. I owned my 1st catering trailer Mitch's westside goodie truck in 2005, opened my 1st restaurant 2006 on "F"street Sumtin' Ta Eat, purchased and customize my catering truck Sumtin' ta eat mobile 2010, opened my 2nd restaurant 2013 Sumtin' Ta Eat Restaurant and Christian Lounge downtown on Kern, launched my new line and style of cookin what i call soulfood fusion in 2015 Signature's Legendary Cuisine was born.
