- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always like to get an idea of what they like, what type of skin they have, and what look they’re trying to achieve. I like to look at reference photos to make sure we’re on the same page, and also so we can pinpoint problem areas for the client and help educate them on what their needs are!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went through a year long certification program in which I learned beauty, theatre, high fashion, film/television, and special effects makeup techniques. In addition to that, I am constantly practicing my craft and learning from pros via social media and online.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got really into doing my own makeup and decided it’d be cool to try doing others’ as well! So I packed up my things and moved across the country to go to school for it.
