- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
only for installation. for repair is different because it can be many different things causing the problem. for example the price to fix a leak on 1/2" pipe is not going to be the same as the 1 1/2",o a leak behind the wall isn't going to be the same as a leak underneath the slab. to give the customer a flat rate first I need to find what's causing the problem.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
to let them know that I know what I'm doing. be prepare to answer all questions. give them options,give a brief description of job to be done and the most important do it right the first time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to LA trade college for five years. during those 5 years I took water supply, drainage, soldering and brazing, used and care of tools, related mathematics, design and installation, drawing interpretation and plan reading, plan reading and related drawing, advance plan reading and related drawing, health care facilities code, job safety and health, uniform plumbing code 2009 and 2012,rigging, related science, gas installation. during this 5 years I had review blue prints,building codes,and specifications to accurately plan work. complete detailed records of assignments as well as daily work reports. accurately craft piping including measuring,cutting, threading,soldering and bending materials to the correct angle utilizing appropriate tools install piping systems fittings,valves,and appliances, lay out,set and connect plubming and fixtures for water, waste and gas. prepare and install sanitary storm sewer and private sewage systems. operate power tools and equipment. finish any and all projects with an eye towards quality.
