FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If you are aware of what you want, the process is always moves quicker and cheaper. If your not sure of what you want, that's fine too...I've got the experience to guide you through every step of the way and help show you how and why the finished product is the best it can be. All of my quotes include the following: • a project consultation to explore all aspects of your project (what you want to accomplish, who your audience is, what your needs are, what the best solution is, some design collaboration to see what you like/dislike) • one round of initial designs to review, suggest changes, or approve • two rounds of revisions to get exactly what you want • delivery of the finished product and fully integrating this with all your needs I'm also happy to help you with any changes and updates as your needs change to keep you as a valued customer for anything you need.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Discuss the full scope of the project, defining what your needs are, what the best solution(s) are, who your target audience is, and what the best solution is. Then think from a Guerrilla marketing perspective to get into the minds of your customer/client, to turn the table around 180-degrees and sit in your customers position to think about what it is that makes your brand better than others (are you better, faster, cheaper, etc) and focus the content around that to insure you are providing exactly what others are looking for in a product or service. What sets you apart and then exploit those ideas. I don't just want you to be happy...I want everyone who sees your product to know why you are the best.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started my career in design over 25 years ago before things were digital, and still hold a fine respect for how things were done back then. This has taught me so much, and I use computers and digital equipment as a "tool" in my design arsenal, but not as something I have to rely on. There are many "designers" today that depend on the software to make them seem creative, but don't have the knowledge and skill to do things without. I'm not one of those people. As an artist, designer and developer, I have had my logo designs patented by major companies, and received honors such as The Golden Web Award by the International Association of Webmasters. My work has been featured in Forbes magazine's Best of the Web, and have worked for clients such as The White House Historical Association, Ford Motor Company, Discovery, and many more.
