The job was well done and he is obviously knowledgeable. His advertisement stated $80 but was $120 when we met. This could be viewed as bait and switch. I chose him based on price and it turned out that his was the same as the competition. Being desperate to get the job done I stayed with him. Did not accept credit cards but a bank was a block away so no problem.

Thanks for the review! But to address the bait and switch comment, the laptop was thought to require only virus removal/OS repair before arriving onsite, but ended up needing the hard drive replaced (failed diagnostics) after which the OS had to be reinstalled, drivers installed, software installed, data transferred etc. The price changed because it required a different repair that was significantly more time consuming than what the customer description of the issue would have required.
