FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My individual sessions are 50 minutes long at a rate of $75. My couples sessions are 80 minutes long at a rate of $100. I offer discounted sliding scale fees also based on income to accommodate financial needs, I am always happy to provide a copy of that form for anyone interested in that. I do not currently accept insurance, but I do accept HSA cards and Mines and Associates EAP.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer free phone consultations if desired by client. My first sessions are intake sessions where you have an opportunity to get to know me as a therapist and ask any questions about how I practice or the process. I will use this time to get to know you and what brings you in and we can make sure I am a good fit and then proceed with a plan for how I can assist you and what your therapy goals are.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. in Psychology and a M.A. in clinical mental health. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and have my LPCC. I have done many hours of continuing education trainings to expand my knowledge and skills. I am constantly reading in an attempt to better myself at my job. I also participate in supervision where I receive case consultation and another opportunity for growth as I work to move from LPCC to LPC.
