PDX Tile did an excellent job. I had some old linoleum in my bathroom that they pulled out and installed beautiful modern tile for a low price. Highly recommend PDX Tile.

I am a DIYer who once I got the vanity and floor pulled decided I might be in over my head, so I hired Daniel to tile a 5x5' half bath. He was very pleasant to work with however, I knew enough to know the finished work was just one step above DIY. After showing the after photos to my contractor brother-in-law, who is sadly in the east coast, here's what I got as feedback.... the door molding should have been cut so the tile went underneath rather than just abutting it, the transition between the bath tile and hall wood floor was created by sloping narrow pieces of tile down to meet the downward slope of the old wood transition creating a V. A true professional would have removed the old transition piece and tile cut to meet it (I have since removed the narrow tile pieces and am left trying to figure out how to fix this now 2" gap). Instead of 1/4" backer board or the 1/4" uncoupling mat that had been recommended by several professionals for the floor (and which I knew would still allow the door to open/close) he insisted on using 1/2" backer board which has left ME now having to trim the door down. I assumed that as in the past the bathroom would be put back together but while his price was appealing it ended up not including the return of the toilet, door or molding....my fault for not asking, however, when I asked him about it he asked me, "do you have a man to help". At this point I think he needs a bit more experience and openness to learning alternative ideas.
