FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After a phone call or email from an interested client. I love to hear all about your thoughts on documenting this particular time in your or your loved ones life. Basically, the who, what, where, when and why. This allows me to schedule our time and begin the creative planning process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been creating photographic images for over fifteen years, and formally established my business in 2013. I have won numerous awards, including both gold and bronze placements for Best Local Photographer in Coastal Virginia Magazine 2014 and 2015. I have won photographic competitions for Things Remembered, Carter Mountain Orchard and Silk Milk. I also regularly do freelance photography work for The Daily Press.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with people I've never met before and (even more challenging) loved ones. Models and people who hate having their photos taken. People who are newly in love and those celebrating fifty years together. Babies eight days old and all the ages in between. People in groups and people alone who are serious about their business.
