- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I've been doing this so long that I typically give an estimate for what I believe it is worth to me as well as still providing an affordable price for the customer. My goal is for both sides to feel the price is fair for the work provided. I believe is providing fair prices coupled with professional results.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Ask specific questions to determine the scope of work: ceilings, walls, trim, doors? Estimate the amount of hours/days. Estimate approx amount of paint. Recommend paint brands, sheens. Offer to drive to the site to meet the customer and arrange pick up of paint if needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Started as an artist, aspired to be pro interior painter 8 years ago. I am constantly learning and growing as a painting contractor. Most of my experience has been on the job training over the years.
