I most enjoy making meals out of quality ingredients that people can enjoy alone when they get home from work, with their family at meal time, or share with a gathering of friends at a dinner party. I believe that the trend away from the kitchen and food prepared from fresh ingredients is causing much of the health crisis we are experiencing in the United States. I love watching people realize once again how good food can make them feel.

Caroline was a great cooking demonstration teacher - very well versed, flexible enough to adapt recipes to seasonal ingredients and had a great rapport with customers.

Caroline, Chef of Nostalgia, is an amazing cook, planner, and presenter of fine foods. Unlike your average Chef, Caroline can make the best out of every situation. She has a personality unlike most creative chef-folk in that she laughs and smiles and is hardly ever ruffled by changing circumstances (and has never inappropriately shown it when she was ruffled). I have never experienced a chef without "attitude" ... until Caroline. If you want amazing food and are going to need your Chef to be out among your guests, then hands-down - CAROLINE!

Caroline was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We had her do a dinner party of 6 adults for a milestone birthday. We asked for an Italian menu to recreate a memorable dinner the family had shared in Rome. Caroline researched dishes, including a special request, and made a delicious dinner (and cake!) with lots of leftovers. My Mom was so pleased with the dinner and with the spotless kitchen that Caroline left behind!
