FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Quoting and bidding is ALWAYS FREE, whether its done over the phone or in person. I never ask for down payment or "parts money" or anything of that nature. Payment comes after I work- that's only fair and it protects you as customer. On larger projects sometimes we do a series of payments, if this is the case we will discuss that ahead of time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1: Reach out to me via Thumbtack. Make sure you include a contact phone number for YOU. I will be happy to give you call, but I can't call if I don't have your number! Step 2: We need to connect on the phone. Most of the time my projects begin with a simple phone conversation. I myself am often on the job working, so if I don't pick up right away, feel free to try calling again in a minute or two. Call me as often as you'd like- you are never bothering me!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an engineering degree of U of I in Champagne. I also have 15+ years of on the job training. I have experience in all aspects of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical work.
