- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The average cost for a detailed hand drawn to-scale garden design is usually 3 to 4 hundred dollars for an entire property and less for smaller areas. This may be your 5-year plan. I breakdown the cost for you for each area and the cost of each plant, delivery and installation fees. I will show you pictures of each plant and also email you those pictures. Most people choose one or two areas to get started and add a bit more every year but if you would like to do it all at one time we can do that too.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I come out for a free consultation and at that point you can choose to hire me for a design or installation. I typically take half down payment. I accept cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard, Chase Quickpay, Bank of America money transfer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A lifetime of experience and two years of education at the Chicago Botanic Gardens.
