Christen is passionate to create high quality images for her clients that tell compelling and engaging stories whether her clients are families, individuals, couples, business professionals, or a growing nonprofit organization. She brings her training from Southern California, experiences living in the Middle East, and both the knowledge of and connections within the West Michigan community to her professional photography work.

My husband and I decided to do a photoshoot for our 6 year anniversary and we hired Christen to take our photos. From start to finish - the experience and the product - I can't say enough wonderful things. Christen was able to work with our budget, she let us choose the locations, was flexible with what we were looking for, and made the whole experience feel like we were on a fun date. She had lots of artistic and creative ideas on how to pose us. And then - THE PHOTOS! Oh my goodness her work was simply stunning. Vivid, beautiful, playful - just fantastic photography all around. She really captured the spark between us and our personalities. One of the photos she took which hangs on our wall I still point to people as the perfect metaphor for our relationship. She gave us a sneak peak preview that same night, and then I forget exactly how long we waited for the edited photos but it wasn't too long. The photos from that shoot are such treasures that we will enjoy for our whole lives. Thanks, Christen! Book her now! You'll be so glad you did.

Christen took photographs of my extended family. The pictures came out excellent. She made sure to get all the different groupings that we wanted, even though that took a little extra time.

Christen did a family session for my family of 10, ranging in age from 2 to 93. She kept us (even 3 young kids) laughing and captured genuine, relaxed smiles from all of us, which is exactly what we hoped for. Our session felt unhurried and the shots were a nice mix of her ideas and she was very open to different things we wanted to try. We couldn't be happier with the many amazing family shots she captured.
