I only had discussions with Ral about getting an American green card for my husband. We ended up deciding not to move to America, but she was very helpful and knowledgeable and was very responsive to all of my questions and inquiries. Once we're ready to go to the US we will definitely be using her!Jan 23, 2019Verified

So far Ral has been amazing working with my case! She has been answering all of my questions right away, no matter when I text her. She really seems that she knows what she’s doing and I have complete confidence that she will help me and same sex partner get our visa. I have no complaints as of now and am happy that I have someone to help with all of my needs and questions through this whole process. I would definitely recommend her!Sep 30, 2018Verified
I recently hired Ms. Obioha to handle an Adjustment of Status application for me. My wife and I had a deadline based on the order from the immigration judge. She responded past work hours and within 24 hours everything was done and perfectly too. Her and team are so easy to work with and stay calm even under pressure. They treated my case as if it were theirs. This is my first experience with a lawyer this genuine. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a lawyer.Sep 18, 2018Verified
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first step is to schedule a consultation to get the details of the case. My ultimate goal during each consultation is to get to know each client and their specific legal need. Subsequently, I explain each possible legal relief the client is qualified for and offer, based on my expertise, the most viable plan of action that fits their specific legal needs. As soon as I am hired, I get to work immediately. The client gets a layout of our plan, as well as, a checklist of documents I need. Based on a mutually agreed timeline, I immediately start working earnestly on their case.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My education is as follows: -Juris Doctor/ Howard University School of Law/ Washington, D.C. -Masters of Law (LL.M)/ Washington College of Law, American University/ Washington, D.C. -Bachelor of Science in History/ Eastern Mennonite University/ Virginia -Bachelor of Science in Psychology/ Eastern Mennonite University/ Virginia In addition to my education, I have over 12 years of legal experience and training, including positions held prior to going to law school as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal and Law Clerk.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I found inspiration for the law while interning for a non-governmental organization based in Nigeria called the Civil Resource Development and Documentation Center (CIRDDOC) as a paralegal in the summer of 2004. I got the rare opportunity to learn from various renowned international lawyers. I also met so many inspirational individuals. This experience inspired me to dedicate my life to legal advocacy, the empowerment of the dispossessed, and the quest for equality. With that in mind, I set a goal to study law, as it would equip me with the knowledge and tools to practice my passion for the law. That experience catapulted me into the legal profession,
