Most people are surprised that my prices are so affordable. I don't charge a premium for executive resumes and I don't feel that a great resume should only be available for those who can afford to pay hundreds of dollars. I really believe that EVERY client deserves the same level of attention - I treat my new grad clients with the same level of service as my executive clients. My goal is to create a resume that will get you immediate attention using original content to showcase your professional value.
I will take your existing resume, ask a few questions, and recreate a resume that is more reflective of your achievements and the value you bring. It's hard for people to brag about their own accomplishments, but a ghost writer can brag for you. I spend a significant amount of time doing research so that I can create unique resumes for each client. There is no cookie-cutter resume here!
I have been writing professional resumes for over 20 years - some projects as a freelance writer and as a contractor for top-tier global resume writing service. This was my first time EVER seriously considering hiring a resume writer, and I am so glad I took the jump to do so. Although I have never really had problem finding employment with my skillset, I also knew I was not getting calls back from the really big jobs I was trying to land. I figured it had something to do with my own attempts of revision to present myself to employers and boy was I right. Carey did a stellar job of taking my experience and presenting it in a light that gave me so much better confidence about what I can really offer to an employer outside of my comfort zone, and I am already receiving a lot bigger bites than I ever have off of my resume. I know the price for a good resume writer made me question a LOT if it would really be worth it, but I will say it very much is if you are looking to climb the ladder from where you are now. You will definitely have a resume that she will fashion to your preference and voice while receiving her best judgement on how to market you to the field you are trying to get into. Overall, this is the best decision I have made for myself all year and I really wish I had made it a lot sooner.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are a number of prices, depending on the resume package purchased. Pricing starts at $160.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to make the process super easy. All I really need is a client's original resume and I can get started re-writing it. If you don't have a resume, no worries! I have a worksheet you can fill out or we can talk through your career. If you have a link (or two) to job postings that you're targeting, you can send them to me as well so that I can properly frame your new resume.
I am always available by email and I am happy to schedule a phone call and video call to discuss your project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Professional Resume Writer, I have a Master of Arts in Communication from Johns Hopkins University, and I am a member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers.
