I was wrong in not getting multiple bids before allowing any work to start. There was no need to seal the vents when there was a identified huge hole that I was not provided any sold bid on. I paid $275 for 15 minutes of work sealing 3 vents that didn't even have leaks and were near to the ladder. I had to hire another company who had SET pricing. They cover the full roof $600 for single story and $700 for two story. They will repair all holes, seal all vents/chimneys/etc, seal any small cracks across the full roofs (both the up and down roofs) and guarantee it for one year. I am very saddened that Alfredo pushed to seal any part of the roof without quoting me the full job (especially since the area he sealed has NOT LEAKED). I highly suggest you have set prices for CLAY TILE roof patch and seal. They are TOO Easy to crack unless you have a drone to review the roof, or just charge a set price and guarantee your work. Alfredo was pleasant BUT should never have encouraged sealing vents THAT WERE NOT the problem. From my very accurate description Alfredo had already identified the 2" circular hole in which he had estimated, before coming to my house, would be $250 to $275 to fix. After being at my house and seeing the hole, exactly where I said it was, Alfredo came up with a quote of "up to $1500". When I said I was getting other quotes because that was outrageous, he called his brother and brought the price down to $500. I stated I was still getting competitors quotes and Alfredo said "I can go ahead and seal the 3 vents today". I had NO idea that the cost would be $275.00 SINCE that was the estimate approximate to fixing the hole. I should have refused to pay that but I was shocked. This work should NOT have been suggested and should not have been over $60.00 for.

Very bad experience. He promised to make the shingle color match. When I returned from work, he claimed the work was done. The shingles are totally off color and do not match. Also the workmanship is poor and eye for details is lacking. He would charge for even hammering down a nail that was adjacent to the shingle - I will never hire this company again and will recommend others to stay away - see the pictures below.
