FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have a standard pricing for my services. I start by looking at the complexity of the project, then the cost of material. I estimate the amount of days for completion and roll the labor into a fixed price. Before a send a bids, I double check my competitors prices to make sure it's a fair cost for quality, licensed work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If a new client wants a rough verbal estimate over the phone or email, I could do it with pictures and measurements. Once I come to the project and truly assess the work, I send the client a detailed bid that includes a clear scope of work. When we agree on terms, I schedule a job completion timeline.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my general contractors license #967320, which requires, in most cases, 4 years as an apprentice and 4 years as a journeyman just to apply for the exam. I also have a few certifications i.e. fall protection, OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, EPA Lead, and Home Inspector.
