FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to chat with my clients about their photo shoot! We talk about location, setting, props, and get really creative with some of the concepts! The best part is getting to know each person, helping them feel comfortable in front of the camera, and providing images that they love
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I fine-tuned my knowledge of photography and composition by spending hours outside with our horses taking pictures and completing courses in photography through the Equine Professional Photographer’s Network, IUPUI Continuing Studies Certification program, and with Beryl Young and her Momtography, Radiate and Embrace courses. I have had my work featured at the Athens Art Gallery in Crawfordsville, Indiana, in TrailBlazer magazine, and online for a local jewelry creator, Be Jewelry, and I have won Special Mention in the Boone County Open Photography Show.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My photography interest was peaked during a trip to the UK in 2008 where I met a photographer whose work really touched and inspired me. Never able to draw and create art the way I saw it in my head, photography soon proved to be the next best thing and I was constantly praised for my amazing “eye”.
