FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have been in the trade for over 25 years, I started as a warehouse worker, promoted to installation tech, then service tech, salesman, estimator, field superintendent. I have held just about every position possible in a HVAC company. I noticed the extreme mark ups the company puts on their pricing. I understand that overhead, payroll etc has to be covered, but the margins they were making were huge. When I opened my doors, I decided to set my pricing half of industry standards. I will also ask that the consumer obtain a quote or two from other companies and typically I would cut my competitions pricing in half. I also work with my customers as much as I can so that I can bring comfort to their family, alot of times I find myself below half of my competitons pricing. I enjoy my work and take pride in what I do, I do not want to get rich, I sincerely work in this trade because I love it.If you have any HVAC, PLUMBING OR ELECTRICAL QUESTIONS OR NEEDS GIVE ME A CALL
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I don't know if there is a "typical process" I do know that thumbtack makes it a tad difficult to provide a complete, accurate, and reasonable quote, I am hoping thumbtack would allow the contractor to email or phone the customer to set up a time for a free in home estimate.
