FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We of course do our best to provide a good general quote online. We use some general square foot pricing methods but prefer to have an on-site consultation in order to give a more detailed estimation of price, particularly when performing more extensive remodeling, such as bath and kitchen remodeling.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process for customers will vary depending on the service, but all work typically starts with an on-site consultation. For more simple jobs, such as painting or siding, this would merely include checking for factors where more cost would be incurred, such as damage needing repaired, or extensive site preparation. For more extensive remodeling, such as full bathroom and kitchen remodeling, we like to develop a clear plan and budget with our customer, so that everyone has a definitive idea of what is expected. We like to create a shared Pinterest page with the customer if they are in need of design ideas and recommendations for hardware, furnishings and materials. For the particularly discerning customer, we can create a 3D model of what the new space will look like at an additional fee. After design choices have been made, we create a detailed work and payment schedule, so that the customer will have a clear time table on which to base their expectations of cost and completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our designer and site manager holds a BFA in art and design, and our senior installers are all at least at a journeyman level of hands on training.
