Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: When you look at how we do things at Action Indy Contracting you will see so many things that stand out from the majority of construction companies. We truly care about people and enjoy that in doing our jobs we get to help people. We offer discounts to senior citizens, members of the military and veteran, as well as police and fire dept. employees. Why? Because they deserve it. We go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. We are a small company, and that makes it easy to produce an outstanding finished product. We do not use subcontractors to complete our projects, and that is becoming more rare in our industry all the time. I am a second generation contractor, and I take great pride in carrying on my family legacy as a knowledgeable craftsman, and I strive to have the answer for any situation we encounter. We offer services that most contractors tend to overlook such as our "Green Restoration Service" to help our clients reduce their carbon foot print. Or our garage remodels, in which we use race team quality garage cabinets and floor systems, and we even work directly with a auto-lift distributor if you want go over the top! We are also still learning every day and getting better all of the time. I am currently working on getting certified in Age in Place Remodels to help senior citizens live at home independently. But the thing that separates us most from other companies is passion. This is what we do. And we love it. I've been turning stacks of material into beautiful places to live for most of my life. I honestly couldnt imagine doing anything else

From beginning to end, these guys were incredible to say the least. They genuinely cared about my concerns and happiness with the finished product. If ever I have another project, they will most definitely be the first I call.

Ian was quick to respond and very polite and courteous while in our home. He assisted us with designing our kitchen remodel and was able to fit what we wanted into our budget. Would highly recommend him and look forward to working with him again when we do our bathroom remodel.

Hired on Thumbtack

I hired these guys to add a railing and pergola to an existing deck. I selected them because they came in with the lowest estimate and talked the talk. The problems started right from day 1. They started the project a few days later than the day they told me they would start. Ian quoted me a 4 day project but it ended up taking every bit of two and a half weeks. In the meantime, Ian never showed up with the same people more than once. Every day was a new guy on my property... people he told me he had hired literally that same day or the day before... on my property. Ian asked for 10 percent up front but I went ahead and gave him 50 percent. Even with that, he came to me before the project was over and asked for more money. When the project was finally complete, my yard was an absolute disaster, cigarette butts everywhere, and they destroyed my yard to the extend that I’ve had to re-sod a large portion of it. At the end of the project, they abandoned ladders in my yard and left their dumpster of construction debris in my front yard. I had to call waste management and pay out of my own pocket to have them come remove the construction debris... something Ian promised me he would take care of. It’s now been a couple months and the deck is falling apart. I’ve had to reattach the majority of the deck boards myself. The railing is very wobbly and definitely not safe to lean against. I’ve had to reattach many of the railing spindles where they’ve literally fallen off the fence. Many of the deck boards have curled up over time because they were never properly screwed into the joists. Ive had to purchase more hardware to secure the pergola members where they were starting to fall over. In short... you get what you pay for. These guys came in at half of my other estimates and now I know why. I would not recommend them to even my worst enemy.

Details: I have sketches and/or a basic idea of the project • Repairs to existing structure • Less than 500 sq ft • Residential
