DO NOT HIRE HIM. An absolute scam. I talked to Evan for days before booking him and paying a deposit. An hour before the job he contacted me and told me they would have to “push it back because their other job was delayed by hours”. Not specific at all. I asked what time he thought they would be able to make it, and got no response. I lost my deposit and I am now in a horrible position without a furniture mover one day before we have to be out of the apartment. This man is a scam, do not fall for it like I did.

Aline I am sorry. The 1 star is fine because I was not able to complete your request but I am in no way a scam. At all. It stormed here yesterday and I completed two other moves yesterday that I booked through this same site. The second move we had to stop in the middle of it because it was storming and we didn’t get done until after 8pm. Phone died and everything. I failed you yesterday and I do apologize and will be issuing you your refund for the deposit. We are not a scam and that actually hurt me very much because even though I failed you I really did try yesterday and I’m sorry. You will have your refund in a few days.

Do not book this person/ company!!! I wish I had read the previous review where the customer states that THIS IS A SCAM!! Please do not lose your $30.00 to confirm the booking, like I did. I am still receiving disrespectful messages from Evan through Thumbtack and had to block him from texting my phone, even after he was texting me stating he would be an hour late and had not even picked up the truck yet. WoW!!! I will be contacting Thumbtack to report him and his business, Again, not sure if I can be any clearer: THIS IS A SCAM!!

Disrespectful messages? When and where? Please post them here so the world can see our entire conversation, please. This is insane. What happened with my other customer has nothing to do with you. Ma’am. You NEVER GAVE ME AN ADDRESS. You are honestly very confused. You never gave me an address and never responded to me until after 7 the day of your move. YOU DID NOT RESPOND THE PREVIOUS DAY NOR GIVE ME AN ADDRESS., and you know that. So I don’t get why you’re bashing my character .You know what you did was wrong. The customer review you read was an out of town job that I missed because of what You did Saturday. Her and I have already worked things out. So again; this is not a scam. The other customer is getting her refund because missing her appointment was MY fault. You won’t get a refund because missing our appointment was YOUR fault. Have a nice day.
