My Hourly rate is $250 an hour. Headshots & Modeling sessions: (MORE EDITING REQUIRED) • 1hour -$250 (5 edited images) • 1.5 hours -$375 (8 edited images) • 2 hours -$500 (10 edited images) Engagement & Boudoir Sessions: With Prints & Online Gallery • 1hour -$275 (10 edited images) 4x6 of the selected images, 2 5x7, and 1 8x10 • 1.5 hours -$375 (15 edited images) 4x6 of the selected images, 4 5x7, and 2 8x10 • 2 hours -$500 (20 edited images) 4x6 of the selected images, 6 5x7, and 3 8x10 Weddings: **FREE 30 Minute engagement session**($125 Value - 3 Edited digital images on an online gallery with download pin) • 4 hours - 1,000 (400 Edited digital images on an online gallery with download pin) • 6 hours - 1,500 (600 Edited digital images on an online gallery with download pin) • 8 hours - 2,000 (800 Edited digital images on an online gallery with download pin) Printed products are sold separately.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
INITIAL CONTACT You checked out my site and loved my wedding photography. Next step would be to fill out the contact form on my site. I will contact you soon after. CONSULTATION JanetChrys Photography Wedding photography is based out of Jacksonville Beach. If you are local It’s time for us to meet in person. If you’re not we can plan a video call through Skype. The consultation is time for us to get to know each other, for me to answer any questions you might have, and talk more about what you envision for your wedding day. As a gift for meeting with me you will receive a free mini engagement session without signing any contract. Some people are nervous about being in front of a camera. Having an engagement session before your wedding day is a great icebreaker to get comfortable in front of the camera and for us to get to know one another.CONTRACT It’s time to lock down your date. If you feel that we are a good match then let’s make this official by signing your wedding photography contract and paying a retainer fee of 50% of the chosen package. PINTEREST BOARD As a photographer, I am extremely visual. It helps us both if you put together a Pinterest Board of the pictures you want to have for your wedding. It’s fun and helpful and most brides already have them before I even ask. After reviewing your board I will touch base with you about your choices and brainstorm on different creative ideas for your wedding day. WEDDING DAY TIMELINE About 6 weeks before your wedding day, I will send you an email with questions I’ll need you to fill out. After I gather that information I will send you timeline so you get a clearer picture of what to expect. Planning the timeline will ensure things will stay on schedule while capturing everything you are wanting. MUST HAVE PHOTO LIST About 3 weeks before your wedding day, I will send you a sample list. At this time you will fill in the blanks with names and give me any additional family photo list to help keep things organized. Please let me know about sentimental items, and special people so nothing and no one is left out of the photos. FINAL PAYMENT The final payment is due 2 weeks before the wedding date. WEDDING DAY Your wedding day is finally here! The day when all your planning comes together in one emotional crazy and exciting day. Enjoy it goes by too fast! PHOTOS & FLASH DRIVES Four to six weeks after your wedding day you’ll receive an invite via email to view your wedding gallery. You will be given an online pin to download your images. You will also receive a custom flash drive with all the images along with a print release to print out our favorites.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I majored in graphic design and minored in photography at it at the University of North Florida back in 2003. After graduating, I began working as a photographer doing weddings. After having children I couldn’t put the camera down. As I watch my daughters change daily I am reminded of the importance of seizing each milestone in their lives. I am driven by my passion to take captivating photos of my daughters.
