FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes. My hourly fee is $120 per session. Although I do not accept insurance, I am able to offer you a therapy statement to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Make sure to check with your insurance company ahead of time to ensure they accept out of network providers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first session is typically 60 minutes although depending on paperwork I do allow some flex time in case it goes over. My goal for the first session is to connect. To get to know you. To hear where you're coming from and what you'd like out of therapy. I want you to leave feeling heard and important and valued!!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Master's Level Marriage and Family Therapist. Now, that doesn't mean I only work with marriages and families! I have significant training in all issues related to attachment. This can affect marriages, individuals, kids, TEENS! I work from a systems perspective. That means, regardless of who is meeting with me in the room, I am considering all the other systems at work (immediate family, spouse, extended family, peers, work relationships, etc). All of this is important and will be considered in our work together.
