- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always charge what I feel I'm worth as a professional but also what I would be willing to pay as a customer. There's no science to pricing your services well but I'm a big believer in fair pricing and great service. Customers remember this and always come back. I don't just want your business... I strive to create a relationship with every customer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always want to get to know my customers on a deeper level but I follow their lead and pace when it comes to being personable. I try to make everyone feel comfortable and open up when I am taking their photos. I laugh and joke and have a conversation with them while I take their photos. Before they know it... it's over & I've taken 100 wonderful shots. This is the key to good, candid images that capture a moment and truly tell a story and encompass the personality of the people in the images.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taken dozens of photography and art classes in the past 15 years. From high school to community college to the university I graduated from with my bachelors... I've developed my style and sharpened my skills to ensure "my eye" for beauty in photography stays at its best. My photography and art knowledge and education is rather vast and I enjoy painting as well as writing along with producing captivating imagery.
