Introduction: Hello! Welcome to J & K Painting and Mural Co. We are a best friend and colleague mural painting duo. Friends for nearly two decades, we only recently combined powers to embark in a collective mural painting venture. Jessica and Karen (Ren) both have nearly 2 decades of fine art experience. Jessica holds a B.A. and an M.A. and is particularly skilled in oils, acrylic, mural painting, and large scale narrative works, while Karen is adept in illustration, calligraphy, and mural painting. Both have individually created public and private works, and most recently together created a public mural in a historic site in downtown Kansas City. Both are working moms to young children, are outdoor enthusiasts, and are overall highly enjoyable to be around;). During the week, Jessica teaches elementary art and Karen works as a showroom consultant, thus we are both are available evenings and weekends to realize and develop your mural concepts.
