FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is competitive, but it also reflects my level of skill. I have 20 years of experience and the product my customers receive reflects the level of research, care, and attention I provide. Prior to starting any project, I provide a statement of work that outlines exact pricing details. Most of the time, prior to quoting a price, I prefer to speak to the potential customer, to ensure I understand all of their requirements. I bill through PayPal, generally. I understand that some businesses must pay with checks, and I do accept those. I provide a link to customers to review my work, and then after their payment clears, I release the files.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every customer is different and requires their own process. However, being a pushy salesperson is NOT part of my process. I try to adapt to the customer's requirements, and always provide original content. I have used many platforms, project-tracking tools, and software programs. So, in most cases, I either know, or can learn quickly, whatever tools a customer prefers. I am happy to share samples, references, and my resume.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed training in the Information Mapping Methodology, Simplified Technical English, and learned many writing methods and software applications, either by teaching myself, learning from others, or attending classes.
