My name is Katie Jellicorse, and I am the planner and designer for Setting the Wedding. I found my passion for everything girly and frills at a young age. I was determined, and still am, to collect and watch every Nicholas Sparks movie ever made. I love hearing a good love story, and have brought that love into wedding planning.
I started my career like anyone else, with family. I planned my first wedding for my sister back in July of 2012. After that day, I was hooked. My sister and I now have traveled all over east Tennessee, to several wedding venues around the area to help my brides design and plan that perfect “I do!” Nothing beats the feeling of that moment when the bride and groom are saying their vows, and share in that first moment of being husband and wife!
I have had the opportunity now to grow my business as a planner and designer. I truly believe that God worked this move into his perfect timing and plan for my life. I love the relationship I experience with my husband/best friend and the same my brides and grooms share at their weddings. I love taking the initial contact with a bride, and turning all of their visions into a bridal dream come true! From making everyone feel at home with my sister and I, picking color schemes, planning the menus, all the way down to keeping in budget, I love every aspect! I will do whatever it takes to go above and beyond for each bride, and keep their wedding as unique and special as they are!
