FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
no not really, because someone can have 20 ft high Walls or eight or ten foot walls, someone can have 7 piece crown molding at the top of their wall or they can have no crown molding and floor trim, adding significantly, more work time involved....so I have to see it physically in MOST cases. I have learned the hard way bidding a painting job "sight unseen", you cannot do that square footage of the house as a bidding Measure because the wall, the vertical wall is actually what you're working on not the blueprint of the floor of the house, plus other technical factors that homeowners don't take into consideration. IE: surface texture, prep needed, type of paint used Prior (oil, latex, other ), what level of Completion Standard are you actually looking for...can be Vital with some things....
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After introductions,..I want to find out Exactly what the customer's concerns are. What Outcomes they would Like to see. I explain the process, how many coats, etc...explain all the Prep I will be doing to Ensure the HIGHEST QUALITY Completion Standard. I'll let them know the duration of the project and all the details that are going to be involved in the painting of that particular endeavor.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
over 18 years of experience working as a painter with decorators in the Aspen Colorado area, we worked on high end homes for movie stars as well as everyday people, utilizing Spray, Brush, and Roll, etc and other standard means of painting technique. I utilize an uncanny detailed, methodical, neat approach to all of my painting. Satisfaction is always guaranteed
