FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have multiple variations of pricing which consist of a fixed rate, hourly rate, or agreed rate. Every single job we do is different. Our goal is to stay competitive, provide elite services for our clients and build trustworthy relationships. 85% of our business comes from referrals and returning customers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will elaborate on our Thumbtack process due to the majority of our Thumbtack clients come directly from Thumbtack. When we send out our initial quote it is very complicated to give exact numbers with the limited information we can see in your request. We message you once we noticed you have reviewed our introduction and business operations process. We DO need additional information from you with a detailed description of your needs to give you the quality service we are able to provide. We incorporate everyones personal branding and desires into every design. If we are told "It is a new company" or "I started a coffee shop", this will not be enough information to create your file to the best of our ability. We need to ask a serious of questions. For example, who is your target market, where is your business located, what is your mission statement, ETC. If our clients take the time to answer these questions we will exceed your expectations by enhancing your original ideas. This is our "nitch" and this is what we are good at.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BLAKE - Graphic Design Degree from Minneapolis Art Institute I have been working the design industry for the last 5 years. My previous work experience most recently relates to a mortgage advisor for Wings Financial and 4 years working for a local graphic design and vehicle wrapping company. After I received my degree I started free lancing design work which consisted of logos, illustrations, business cards, wrapping projects and apparel files. I chose to take an independent path working for myself in a (multi-member LLC) due to me closely analyzing other designers. I was able to attack design aspects that others were not. I LOVE what I do and I am extremely passionate about this line of work. "A logo is not just a logo, it is a bold statement consisting of many words" TRAVIS - Business and Marketing Degree from Hamline University I was labelled an "entrepreneur" at the age of 19 by my peers and family members. That is also when I launched my first successful company. I am a marketing and branding guru who understands small - medium sized businesses inside and out. I understand that a company would like to brand themselves through their initial start up and transitioning into re-branding later is a difficult process to handle. I studied Business and marketing at Hamline University in St. Paul, MN while also concentrating in social media marketing and entrepreneurship. I took internships for marketing through large real estate companies. Within the last 6 years I have owned several businesses and handled everything from start up, marketing, SEO and online exposure, guerrilla marketing tactics, advertising, ETC.
