FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a hobby photographer for several years, but it wasn't until my son was born that I really became passionate in wanting to preserve the same memories for other families that I was preserving for my own. I believe that quality photography shouldn't be something reserved for an elite few; everyone should have the opportunity to cherish amazing images of themselves and their loved ones.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with newborns, small children, families, couples, high school seniors, and everyone (flower girl, mom, bride, groom, grandma, etc) who is involved in a wedding. I love having a diverse range of customers, as it helps to keep my day-to-day very interesting and fresh, while also giving me great expertise in many areas of photography.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When you hire a photographer, you not only hire someone to take pictures, but you are hiring someone to spend the day with you, usually during a very special or intimate time, such as a wedding, or newborn pictures, for instance. Even more fun shoots, such as high school senior sessions or family sessions, can be completely shaped by the way you and your family connect with your photographer. My advice is to make sure your photographer is someone you could almost be friends with, after all, you will be sharing very special moments with them, it certainly helps to hire someone who you can easily feel comfortable with.
