FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first goal is always to fully understand the goals of my client. Whether you're a new student or a new recording client, I want to make sure that we're on the same page. For students, I try to get a feel for your experiences, your previous training (if any), your favorite artists/bands/styles, and your goals for taking lessons. Goals could be anything from "I want to audition for college" to "I've always wanted to learn to play the drums but never tried" to "I want to be a professional drummer in a touring pop band." Whatever your goals, I want to help you reach them!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in music from Lebanon Valley College and over a decade professional performing and teaching experience. I've toured extensively in the US, Canada and UK, I've recorded in some great studios in New York and Los Angeles, and I'm always trying to learn more and hone my own skills along with the skills of my students.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As cheesy as it sounds, I'd definitely consider music my "calling." I've been living and breathing it since I was a kid, and I've been very fortunate to be creating professionally for my entire adult life.
