Introduction: I take pride in every meal I make. Food is an art: the processes of creating the dish and the infusion of flavors and spices along with the presentation. The truth is that we all eat with our eyes first, but once the taste buds get involved, there is no going back. I am dedicated to providing good quality food. I'm not here to impress; I am here to feed people good food! Exploring new recipes as well as new flavors is always fun. Really, the most exciting part of what I do is watching folks eat. I love watching them enjoy each bite and answering their questions.

Evelyn's cooking is delicious. I hosted a small dinner where Evelyn cooked a traditional Puerto Rican dinner. Her pernil and pastelon were outstanding. For dessert we had flan and cake pops (not traditional PR food, but who can pass up on cake pops). Evelyn was very professional and good natured. I would hire her again. Her cooking is versatile and delicious.

Went to a private dinner party catered by Ev and all the food was delicious. I'm not usually a fan of green veggies, but all the veggies Ev served were flavorful and yummy. I even got seconds. Chicken dishes were great as well. There were two different dishes offered and both were delicious. Chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. A lot of times chicken can be bland but that was not the case with Evs food. One of them had a mushroom sauce that was just perfect! I would highly recommend her catering services for any event.

Ev took over my kitchen and created Magic. It was gourmet chef service at it's best. I requested chicken and she created two different dishes that where delectable. The chicken was tender and the flavors where heavenly. Best of all I got to watch her create the magic.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Creating a menu, putting together recipes, and shopping for quality ingredients takes time. Typically I charge a rate of $60 per hour this includes: menu, food cost, shopping, meal prep, heating instructions, drop off (as needed) and clean up if meals are prepped in house.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know what the customer likes is very important. What preference they may have, allergies if any.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Less than a month left before I get my Associated Degree in Science of Culinary Arts at the Art Institute of Las Vegas.
